Published on by thepandacover

You can use many kinds of quality product to maintain your watercraft to extend its life. Sometimes, we may need to send our watercraft to special store to maintain it. There are 2 maintenance ways we can do at home easily. Clean your watercraft frequently, and cover it by personal watercraft cover always when you not it.

How to clean our watercraft/ Jet Ski? We may need to prepare some things at first, such as Car Wash Soap, Chamois, Hose, Sponge, Polish, and Vinyl cleaner.

Spray the engine with a low-pressured mist of fresh water. Wash the hull and prevent water from drying on your jet ski to avoid water spotting and etching. Etching appears when you leave behind beads of water, which amplify the sun's influence on the surfaces. Rinsing the jet ski after each use only requires this step for cleaning off salt water and dirt.

Steps of wash watercraft:

First, wash the Jet Ski we need to make sure the engine is flamed out and cool.

Second, clean the surfaces of watercraft to remove salt water, sand and other kinds of dirt. Regular household detergents remove the wax protection and speed up corrosion. Available biodegradable gel wash lifts scum, salt spray, dirt and other contaminants without stripping the protective wax coating. Then chamois the Jet Ski dry.

Third, polish the surface areas. You can restore faded surfaces to their original vibrant color using a color restorer mixture. If your jet ski is gel coated, you will need a rotary polisher with wool pads in order to remove all defects. Remember to tape all rubber and ABS plastic trim; polish is intimidating to get off once it touches these surfaces.

Forth, protect your Jet Ski by spray paint and Jet Ski Cover. You can spray and cover your Jet Ski when it completely dry. Spray a lanolin-based anti-corrosion lubricant over everything when cleaning a jet ski. A cutting agent and anti-moisture spray helps you keep the controls, steering cables, and linkages in working order since they need lubrication to stay corrosion-free. Cover your Jet Ski by quality Jet Ski Cover/ personal watercraft cover. The cover keeps you Jet Ski clean and dry, and against dust, wet weather, snow, rain, and so on.
