Different maintenance on gas golf cart and electric golf cart

Enjoy fun from golf cart with no issue, proper maintenance work is very important. Depends on different kinds of golf cart, we offer 2 different kinds of maintenance ways for gas golf carts and electric golf cart.

Gas Golf Carts Maintenance:

Monthly Maintenance Requires the Following: 1. Check engine oil, make sure it does NOT OVERFILL. 2. Check water in battery, make sure it does NOT OVERFILL. 3. Spray entire inside of cart with hose to keep clean.

Half a year Maintenance Requires the Following: 1. Replace oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter. 2. Check all linkage, steering, tie rod ends, suspension, shocks and rear axle oil. 3. Check entire cart for abnormal noise and wear. 4. Perform 6-month maintenance, plus grease and adjust the brakes.

Electric Golf Carts MAINTENANCE:

Battery maintenance is one of the most important parts of caring for any electric golf cart. Always check tightness of nuts, wash down batteries to keep corrosion resistant spray on terminals. You may use water to spray the entire inside of the cart down to keep it clean of dirt and acid. Water level in batteries (DISTILLED WATER RECOMMENDED) should be above plates and just below collar, leaving room for the water to expand while charging. (Always fill batteries before charging) check batteries weekly. A surge protector must be used or warranty will be voided.

CHARGING BATTERIES:

When charging batteries, always plug charger into the wall first (110 Volts). Then, push all the way into cart to make a good connection, with automatic chargers. The charger will turn itself on and go up to around 20 amps and drop into lower amperages down before recharging. Charging times can vary due to the amount of energy left in the batteries.
